Selection and Placement of Volunteer Interns in Municipal Employment Offices — ORFEV-JEUNES (2nd Edition, 2026)
As part of the operationalisation of the National Action Plan for Youth Employment (PANEJ), MINEFOP in collaboration with MINJEC, Regional and Local Authorities, the National Employment Fund (NEF), the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC), the National Volunteer Program (NVP), the National Observatory for Employment and Vocational Training (ONEFOP), the National Youth Observatory (NYO), and other governmental and non-governmental partners is organising the second edition of the Youth Holiday Guidance-Training-Employment initiative "ORFEV-JEUNES" nationwide (10 regions, 360 councils).
This call aims to select and place 1,080 young people (3 per council) as volunteer interns in Municipal Employment Offices (BEM), whether already operational or yet to be established. Interns will support:
- Reception and guidance of users
- Creation of a database of job seekers and job providers
- Treatment and dissemination of information on job opportunities
- Identification of stakeholders operating at council level
- Coordination of activities of various development partners
- Administrative organisation of work
- Support for communication and awareness-raising
Selected interns serve full-time for one (1) consecutive month starting 1 August 2026, and receive a fixed moderate volunteer allowance plus a certificate of completion.
