Are you between 15 and 35 years old and do you have a business idea or a start-up project in Cameroon’s West Region? The CAMBE West 2026 Business Plan Competition could be the opportunity to take your project to the next level.
As part of the 9th edition of the West Region Career and Employment Fair (Carrefour des Métiers et Bourse de l’Emploi de l’Ouest – CAMBE West), the Regional Delegation of Employment and Vocational Training for the West Region is launching a Business Plan Competition aimed at young project holders from the eight divisions of the West Region.
The objective is clear: to identify, reward, and support the best business projects led by young people.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to young people who meet the following requirements:

1. Be between 15 and 35 years old;
2. Reside in, or have a project based in, one of the eight divisions of the West Region;
3. Have a business idea or a start-up project;
4. Present a project falling within one of the sectors selected for this edition.

Four Priority Business Sectors
For the 2026 edition, projects must fall within one of the following four areas:
🌱 Agro-industry
Projects related to the processing, development, and enhancement of agro-industrial activities.
⚡ Renewable Energy
Initiatives proposing solutions in the field of renewable energy.
💻 Digital and Technology
Innovative projects leveraging digital technologies and digital solutions.
👗 Fashion and Beauty
Entrepreneurial initiatives in the fashion, beauty, and related sectors.
How to Participate in the Business Plan Competition
Participation begins with mandatory online registration.
Candidates must register at the following address:

After completing the online registration, the candidate must download their competition clearance certificate (quitus). This document must be attached to the physical application file.
What Documents Are Required?
The application file must include:

1. The competition clearance certificate (quitus) obtained after online registration;
2. A one-page project summary;
3. A simplified business plan, prepared according to the official template provided;
4. A copy of the National Identity Card (CNI);
5. Any other document the candidate considers useful to help provide a better assessment of their project.

Where Should Applications Be Submitted?
After completing the online registration, candidates must submit their physical application file to:

1. the Divisional Delegations of Employment and Vocational Training in the West Region; or
2. the Regional Delegation of Employment and Vocational Training for the West Region, in Bafoussam.

⏰ Pay Attention to the Deadline!
The strict deadline is Wednesday, September 11, 2026, at exactly 10:00 a.m.
Any incomplete application or application submitted after the stated deadline will be rejected.
So, don't wait until the last minute to prepare your application!
Prizes and Support Opportunities Await
Beyond the competition itself, the CAMBE West 2026 Business Plan Competition gives young entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their projects and benefit from support opportunities.
At the end of the Business Challenge process:

1. 10% of the candidates will be selected and receive prizes;
2. Among the winners, the top 3% will benefit from preferential support provided by the National Employment Fund (FNE) and local financial partners;
3. Long-term financing opportunities are also announced for the best projects.
