Orientation – Formation – Emploi Vacances Jeunes
(Youth Holiday Guidance-Training-Employment)
A nationwide MINEFOP initiative under the National Action Plan for Youth Employment (PANEJ), run every holiday season across all 10 regions and 360 councils of Cameroon, in partnership with MINJEC, the National Employment Fund (FNE), the National Youth Council (NYC), the National Volunteer Program (NVP), the National Observatory for Employment and Vocational Training (ONEFOP), the National Youth Observatory (NYO), local authorities, and public, semi-public and private partners.
What ORFEV-JEUNES Does
During school holidays, ORFEV-JEUNES gives young people a structured opportunity to explore professions, receive career guidance, build technical and entrepreneurial skills, and gain real work experience.
It also launched and continues to feed the national Youth Employment Portal (this site), the shared resource for job seekers, employers, training providers and every administration working on youth professional integration.

Calendrier du programme
Edition 1 — Portal & Program Launch
MINEFOP launched the national Youth Employment Portal (emploijeune.cm) together with the first edition of ORFEV-JEUNES, by ministerial circular letter to Regional and Divisional Delegates of Employment and Vocational Training.
Delegates were tasked to:
- Raise youth awareness of the portal with MINJEC, FNE, NYC, NVP, ONEFOP and NYO decentralized services
- Help enterprises of every size publish internship and job offers on the portal
- Help training providers publish training and guidance offers
- Support each council in setting up its Municipal Employment Bureau (BEM)
- Pool local business databases (large firms, SMEs and micro-enterprises) into the portal
Edition 2 — Municipal Employment Bureau Interns
ActuelCall for Applications N°001/AC/MINEFOP/CAB of 6 July 2026 opened the selection and placement of 1,080 volunteer interns — 3 per council — in Municipal Employment Bureaus already operational or yet to be established, nationwide.
Selected interns support Municipal Employment Bureaus with:
- Reception and guidance of job seekers
- Building a database of job seekers and job providers
- Sharing information on job opportunities
- Coordinating local development partners and administrative tasks
Who Can Apply (Edition 2 — BEM Volunteer Interns)
Eligibility criteria
- Cameroonian, aged 18 to 35
- At least Advanced Level +2; priority to Bachelor's students or graduates in education, psychology, sociology, guidance, social sciences or communication
- Fluent in English and/or French, with strong facilitation and listening skills
- A native resident of the sub-division applied for, available full time for one month from 1 August 2026
- Registered with FNE, BEM or the National Youth Observatory, and a holder of the Biometric Youth Card
- REAMORCE-trained, or of good moral standing where applicable; prior selection as an ORFEV intern is an advantage

From Application to Placement
